Public BBQ

Jabiru Island Park in Paradise Point is a serene retreat perfect for kicking back with a fishing rod and soaking up beautiful scenery. The sheltered barbecue areas offer ample seating for large groups, making it a fantastic spot for social gatherings. Even on rainy days, the park's shelters provide refuge, allowing visitors to watch boats go by and interact with local birdlife. There's a safe swimming area and slide for children adding fun to sunny days. The netted off space provides safe swimming, and a boardwalk leads to a secluded fishing spot. The park can get busy, so early arrival on weekends is recommended. Amenities include clean toilets, showers, and ample parking, but visitors should be mindful of leash laws for dogs.
